Therapy Alliance

The therapeutic alliance is a contract between you and the therapist before receiving treatment, and your agreement to it is a condition for accepting treatment. It preserves your rights and defines the therapeutic relationship between you and the therapist, as well as outlining the responsibilities of the therapist and your responsibilities in the treatment. The terms of this alliance are as follows:

I commit to attending the scheduled therapy sessions as agreed upon with the therapist.
In case I need to apologize and not attend a session due to unforeseen circumstances, I will inform the center's secretary at least one day before the session.
If the therapist needs to cancel a session, the center will notify me at least one day before the scheduled session.
If I miss two consecutive sessions, whether with or without a valid excuse, a new appointment must be scheduled with the therapist, and the current appointment may be allocated to another client.
I agree to pay the agreed-upon session fee before the therapy session begins.
I agree to follow all therapeutic procedures recommended by the therapist as long as they contribute to my improvement.
The therapist will explain all therapeutic interventions to me before implementing them.
Responsibility for the success of the therapy or improvement lies jointly between me and the therapist. I acknowledge my part of the responsibility in my healing process by complying with the therapist's instructions.
I will carry out tasks assigned by the therapist between sessions to contribute to my progress.
The therapist will explain the boundaries of psychotherapy and maintain transparency with me regarding my issues, symptoms, and the expected success rate of my condition.
The relationship between the therapist and me is a professional one and shall not extend beyond that.
The therapist will maintain the confidentiality of all information shared by me and will not disclose it to any third party without my written consent.
Everything discussed within the session is highly confidential and will only be used within the therapeutic context between the therapist and me.
I will not disclose any secrets or therapeutic procedures to anyone outside of the therapy, and I will be responsible for any such actions.
I will cooperate with the therapist in the therapeutic process, both within and outside the therapy sessions, with the aim of improvement. If I do not cooperate in a way that negatively affects my progress, the therapist has the right to terminate the treatment.
I will continue in therapy sessions to receive treatment as advised by the therapist and until the therapist and I mutually agree to terminate the treatment. If I leave therapy prematurely or against the therapist's advice, the therapist is not responsible for any setbacks or lack of improvement.
I accept all of the above, and this is my acknowledgment of it.
